Wheeling Parishioners Invited to World Marriage Day Celebration

WHEELING—St. Vincent de Paul Parish in Wheeling will hold a special evening for married couples on World Marriage Day Feb. 21 with Mass and a dinner followed by a renewal of their vows.

All Catholic married couples in the Wheeling area are invited to attend. The theme is: “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face.” Mass will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will be celebrated by Father Gary Naegele, associate pastor of St. Vincent’s. After Mass, couples will proceed to the Marist Center for a wine and cheese social and a marriage vow renewal. A dinner will follow.

Special recognition will be made to the most recently married couple and the couple that has been married the longest. The evening will feature a presentation by a married couple that will share their story of their commitment to the sacrament of marriage. Attire for the evening is dress. Couples are encouraged to bring their wedding pictures and albums for display.

Reservations will be accepted until Feb. 18. The cost for the evening is $45 per couple.
