St. Vincent de Paul Parish in Wheeling to Host World Marriage Day Celebration

WHEELING—St. Vincent de Paul Parish in Wheeling will hold its 17th annual World Marriage Day celebration Feb. 16. Planning committee member Janet Bole said the theme for this year’s event is “Could I Have this Dance for the Rest of My Life.”

The event is open to parishioners throughout the area and kicks off at 6 p.m. with a gathering in the parish’s Marist Center. At 6:30 p.m., couples will take part in a special Mass where all couples are invited to renew their marriage vows as a group. The Mass will be followed by a candlelight dinner and is highlighted by a testimony of marriage by Dorothy and John Dudzik. Formal attire is requested and committee members encourage participants to bring photos of their wedding day.
